Veolia Transport Partnership with St Aidan's Community School

Since September 2012 St.Aidan's has joined in a partnership with the Luas/Veolia Transport Company. This link has been made through Business in the Community.  Students in St.Aidan's will have the opportunity to learn about how the company operates from the Tram Drivers to those in Head Office in the Control Room.  They will see how the engineers carry out their daily work and how services are carried out on a daily basis for the general public.  St.Aidan's Community School is situated beside the City West Luas Line. LUAS has brought new life to the people of Tallaght in relation to transport. We are grateful to the Business in the Community Organisation for helping to bond our school with Veolia/Luas.
By working with Busines in the Community in partnership with Veolia/Luas our students will gain new skills and learn about new challenges in the world of business.  Business in the Comunity Ireland is a unique movement of companies committed to corporate responsibility practices.  The purpose of business in the community is to inspire, challenge, and support business in continually improving its positive impact on society in the community, environment, marketplace and workplace. e have no doubt that St.Aidan's and Veolia will form a very positive partnership into the future.
